Avis Launches Program for Disabled Customers

PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Avis Rent A Car System announced plans to introduce a car rental accessibility program for people with disabilities. The program's ceremonial launch will take place at the upcoming World Congress on Disabilities in Orlando, Fla., on Friday, Sept. 19.

Speakers at the launch will include Ted Deutsch, vice president of communications and public affairs at Avis; Diane Karl, vice president of customer care and quality assurance at Avis; and Michael Caron, vice president of product development at Avis.
