Alamo Comps Upgrade for U.S. Tourists in Europe

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- U.S. travelers booking a rental car through Alamo Rent A Car between Jan. 12 and March 31 will receive a free upgrade, in two categories, to a larger car.

Alamo Rent A Car customers can reserve a compact car for the price of an economy or an intermediate car for the price of a compact. This offer is valid on rentals in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands.

"When traveling by car in Europe, why not add a little more room and comfort with a free upgrade to an intermediate vehicle," said Nick Harwood, vice president of international sales and marketing.

Rentals must be completed by June 30, 2004.

Alamo has more than 1,200 locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Pacific Rim, Africa and the Middle East.
