Dollar Thrifty Retains EDS for Reservation IT Work

PLANO, Texas -- Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group (DTG) has awarded information technology provider EDS a seven-year contract. Under the extended agreement, EDS will continue to provide midrange server support and hosting at its Tulsa, Okla., data center for DTG's online customer reservation system, corporate financial systems, fleet management and related processes.

"We appreciate our partnership with EDS in helping us grow our business move efficiently and effectively through our systems support," said Donald M. Himelfarb, chief administrative officer for DTG. "EDS helps our company achieve its goals by delivering reliable service, reduced IT costs and additional tangible benefits to our employees, our customers and our shareholders."
