Industry Insurance Broker John Watchie Dies

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Longtime car rental insurance broker John Watchie died unexpectedly Jan. 30 while vacationing in Mexico.

Watchie, 78, is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sally, as well as eight children and nine grandchildren. Services were held Feb. 7 at Holy Family Church in Kirkland, Wash.

Though retired, Watchie had served as a vice president with Sedgwick James.
