ACTIF Board Elects Kevin Miles President

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The ACTIF Board of Directors in October elected Kevin Miles, vice president of business development at the Thrifty franchise in Columbus, Ohio, president of the association.

During a speech at the Car Rental Show, Miles pledged to seek new ways to add value to ACTIF membership benefits. The association's board is also considering a name change.

The board also elected Jim Brown of Economy Rent-A-Car & Sales in Macon, Ga., to the position of association vice president. Payless Car Rental System CFO Rick Stevens was elected association treasurer, while Rent-A-Wreck of America President Kenneth Blum II was elected secretary.
