DTG Board Increases Share Repurchase Program

TULSA, Okla. –The Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group's board of directors on Dec. 6 decided to increase its share repurchase program from $30 million to $100 million.

The company has repurchased 776,500 shares at a cost of $19.5 million since announcing the share repurchase program in July 2003. The company says it expects the remaining $80.5 million of repurchase authorization to be completed by December 2006.
