K.C. Close to Naming Consolidated Facility Contractor

KANSAS CITY -- Locally based Walton Construction is expected to be named general contractor for the consolidated rental car facility project at Kansas City International Airport. The facility is scheduled for completion in 2007.

The city said last week that Walton Construction was the low bidder for the project. City council members are due to award the contract this month.
