Sixt Expands in Asia Pacific Region

SINGAPORE -- Sixt AG, one of Europe's largest car rental companies, said it is aggressively expanding its presence in Asia Pacific and recently opened a support office in Singapore.

"We believe that our future franchise partners will benefit extensively from the established regional support and commitment we are providing for the Asia Pacific market with these investments," said Ruediger Proske, vice president and director of Sixt's franchise division.

Besides the recruitment of franchisees, Sixt will be rolling out its partnership programs in Asia Pacific with airlines, hotels and others.
