Dollar Thrifty Acquires New Mexico Operations

TULSA, Okla. -- Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. has acquired Thrifty Car Rental operations in New Mexico after purchasing Southwest Car & Truck Rental, Inc., the company said in early November.

The acquisition includes an airport location at Albuquerque International Airport and local market stores in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The new locations add approximately 500 vehicles to the company’s corporate fleet.

The terms of the transaction, effective Nov. 1, were not disclosed.
