Orbitz Delivers RSS Feeds to Desktop Computers

CHICAGO -- Orbitz has began offering RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds highlighting updates on car rentals, as well as air, hotel, package and cruise deals, according to Travel Weekly.

The Orbitz RSS feeds, which deliver content and pricing changes in an XML format, will be updated daily for now, however, the company plans to update feeds regularly throughout the day by this April.

Although the air, hotel and vacation package feeds emphasize pricing changes related to selected markets, Orbitz’s car and cruise feeds provide best rates on national promotions.
