DOLLAR Launches Rewards Program for Travel Agents

Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc., has launched a travel agent loyalty program in which agents earn points towards American Express gift cards when they book Dollar car rentals. Called Dollar Dividends, this new program will reward travel agents with points based upon the length of car rental booked. Once agents have earned 25 points (one point equals $1), they will receive a personalized American Express branded reward card that can be used anywhere the American Express card is accepted. Qualifying travel agents will earn one point for three to four day rentals, two points for five to six day rentals and five points for rentals of seven days or longer. Points and dollars will be added to the card balance on a daily basis. Agents can enroll online (www.travelagent.dollar.com) and use a personal identification number (PID) to book qualified Dividends reservations and keep track of their earnings.
