Hertz Adds Mustang Convertibles to New York City-Area Fleet

The Hertz Corporation has added the Ford Mustang Convertible to five of its locations in the New York City-metropolitan area.

The 210-horsepower Ford Mustang Convertible is available for rent at Hertz's three metro-New York airport locations: LaGuardia and JFK Airports in New York City and Liberty International Airport in Newark, N.J.; as well as its East Hampton, N.Y. Airport and Watermill, N.Y. locations.

A Ford specialty Mustang, the convertible offers a 4.0-liter SOHC V-6 engine, with Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. All cars are equipped with air conditioning, dual power mirrors, AM/FM stereo with CD player, four-wheel power disc brakes and 16-inch painted cast aluminum wheels with all-season tires.

The five Hertz locations that carry the Ford Mustang Convertible V-6 also offer Gold Counter or Canopy service and NeverLost, Hertz's on-board satellite navigational system that provides point-to-point driving directions, and Computerized Driving Directions. Mustang Convertible V-6s equipped with SIRIUS Satellite Radio may be requested at the time of reservation at all five locations.
