Dollar Thrifty Honored By Dept. of Defense

Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. was recently honored with the 2007 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award by the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense.

The company is one of 15 U.S. employers selected from 1,200 nominations to receive the national award based on its commitment to employees serving in the Guard and Reserve.

The award is the highest in a series of Department of Defense awards recognizing employers representing three categories: big business, small business and the public sector. Recipients were nominated by their employees who voluntarily serve in the
