Orbitz Worldwide Announces Car Rental Agreement with Fox Rent A Car

Orbitz announced a comprehensive agreement with Fox Rent A Car to offer Fox rentals across its two consumer brands in the Americas, Orbitz and CheapTickets, as well as to its corporate customers on Orbitz for Business.

This agreement addresses the cost-conscious traveler in giving it access to Fox Rent A Car’s discounted prices. Fox Rent A Car also has locations in many of Orbit’s leisure travel destinations.

Orbitz Worldwide offers consumers a hybrid rental search tool to access more than 5,000 fuel-efficient vehicles via its supplier partnerships. Year over year, hybrid rentals through Orbitz.com increased 80 percent in July 2008. The new agreement provides a fleet of hybrid rentals that will add to the Orbitz selection, the company says.
