Indiana House Considers Raising Car Rental Tax

On June 16, members of the Indiana House Ways and Means committee held a meeting to discuss closing Capital Improvement Board’s, an Indianapolis sports agency which runs the city’s convention center and professional sports stadiums, $47 million budget gap, according to the Associated Press.

Possible solutions discussed were raising taxes for car rental, hotel and event admissions.
