Murder-Suicide at Luxury RAC

Two men are dead and another wounded in an apparent murder-suicide on Oct. 29 in the showroom of a luxury car rental business in Cathedral City, Calif.

A police spokesperson said the men were partners in the rental car business and had been in a meeting at the office. The spokesperson said that “there was some type of falling out” between the men in the meeting. One man left the meeting, came back with a gun and shot both of his partners before turning the gun on himself.

One of the men died instantly. The other was taken to a local hospital. An update on that man's condition was not available at press time, nor would the police identify the shooter or victims.

The shooting took place at Luxury Rent-A-Car, 68-350 E. Palm Canyon Drive. Cathedral City borders Palm Springs in Riverside County.
