Hertz Kuwait Appoints New General Sales Agent

The Hertz Corp. appointed Transworld Company as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Kuwait in efforts to increase the amount of outbound car rental reservations from Kuwait.

An independent sales team from Transworld will service and support the country's travel trade professionals who help customers make car rental bookings.

Hertz said the move will help increase product awareness among the travel trade and grow outbound sales with the help from Transworld’s network.

In 2012, the United States, Germany, France and Switzerland topped the list of global destinations for Hertz Kuwait customers. The outbound market also experienced the most growth year over year in Oman by 166%, in Qatar by 150% and in the UAE by 55%.
