CarTrawler Partners with 250 Travel Brands in 2012

CarTrawler reported Jan. 20 that it was appointed as a car rental partner by more than 250 airlines, hotels and online travel agencies in 2012.

In the aviation sector, CarTrawler added Canada-based West Jet and the Russian airline UTair to its existing portfolio of 40 aviation partners including international carriers Emirates, Wizz Air, Vueling, Hawaiian Airlines and Norwegian Air Shuttle.

CarTrawler’s growth with online travel agencies and hotels include Webjet.com.au, Australia and New Zealand’s online travel agency, Travix International, Europe’s online travel group and Starwood Hotels.

“Our product attracts a growing network of travel brands that service consumers all over the world, all year round,” said CarTrawler CEO Mike McGeartysaid. “This makes CarTrawler an important volume driver to car rental suppliers as we bring their product to a vast global audience at an efficient distribution cost.”
