Massachusetts Luxury Rental Company Holds Appreciation Day for Service Officers

Status Ride, an exotic and luxury car rental company located in Worcester, Mass., honored local public service officers at their third annual police and fire fighter appreciation day.

By signing up for a time slot and providing the proper ID, police officers and firefighters had the opportunity to take a luxury vehicle for a drive.

According to Rick Porter, reservations manager at Status Ride, service officers could choose a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Porche 911 or Maserati Quattroporte and then take it for a spin with a Status Ride staff member.

The appreciation event also included lunch, learning more about the luxury cars, and getting a souvenir picture with the car.

“It is our way of showing them that we appreciate what they do,” said Porter. “We appreciate their sacrifice.”
