Avis Budget Named Exclusive Car Rental Provider for AARP

Avis Budget Group will now provide AARP members special offers on its services and products.

Avis Budget Group Inc. announced that it has been selected as the exclusive car rental provider for AARP members. The new multi-year agreement gives Avis Budget the opportunity to promote its Avis Car Rental, Budget Car Rental and Budget Truck Rental brands, its services and special offers to AARP's membership base of more than 37 million.

"AARP is a trusted source for millions of Americans," said Beth Kinerk, senior vice president of sales, Avis Budget Group. "Being selected as the exclusive car rental provider for such an influential organization will enable us to strengthen our presence with the growing 50-and-over demographic as a means to drive additional loyalty and revenue."

As part of the expanded partnership, Avis Budget Group will provide AARP members with discounted rates and special offers on Avis, Budget and Budget Truck rentals. The vehicle rental brands will be featured in AARP’s print magazine and on its website.
