India-based MiCar has launched its car-sharing service in the capital city of New Delhi.

In the first phase of operations, MiCar has introduced 50 car-sharing vehicles in the classes of compact, sedan and SUVs.

"There may be a vast untapped marketplace for car sharing that is still at a really emerging stage,” said Suyagya Aggarwal, co-founder and director of MiCar. “Through our venture, we want to make a new sharing economy that gives hassle-free driving."
