Comparing length of rentals by collision repair center customers, a recent Enterprise Rent-A-Car study reveals the top states where collision repair centers return vehicles to customers in the shortest amount of time.

Enterprise used its Automated Rental Management System (ARMS) to track the length of time a replacement vehicle is rented to collision center customers. According to the ARMS data, the U.S. average length of replacement rental (LOR) was 10.7 days in the second quarter of 2014.

Measured in days, the following states produced the lowest collision repair times:

1. North Dakota (8.0)
2. Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota (8.1)
3. Iowa (8.3)
4. Utah (8.8)
5. Idaho, Maine, Vermont (8.9)

ARMS data helps collision repair centers increase operating efficiencies, enhance customer service and streamline communications with insurance companies and customers, says Enterprise.
