Tourico Holidays is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Tourico Holidays, a travel distribution company that contracts with travel providers, has expanded its network of Direct Connect car rental partners to over 18 branded chains, which cover more than 100 countries.
Direct Connect clients can now search in real-time by city or by airport and view the locations of available cars on a map — while filtering by supplier, vehicle type, transmission and amenities, says the company.

In addition, its clients now also have access to live pricing and booking data for car rental services around the world.
“Tourico offers the most comprehensive car rental inventory on the planet with real-time booking capabilities,” said Ofir Cohen, executive vice president of activities, transfers and car rentals for Tourico Holidays. “By expanding the number of direct connect relationships with car suppliers, our clients can sell or package a variety of rental options, regardless of location — and with the confidence that they are getting the most up-to-date prices and availability.”
Rental cars can also be bundled with other travel products, such as hotels, according to the company. Tourico works with leading car rental brands — including Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, Budget, and Alamo — as well as local, privately owned rental businesses.
“Our car rental offering is designed to offer the best of two worlds,” said Cohen. “We provide the intimate, personalized options that allow every client to find precisely the car they want, and the massive inventory that our clients can access at any time to book and bundle with any of our other travel offerings.”
Rental operators can now detect and act on speeding while vehicles are still on rent, thereby reducing fines, admin workload, vehicle wear, and safety risks.
The combination brings actionable vehicle insights into PurCo’s PurInspect platform, improving damage detection and operational efficiency for rental fleets.
LOR related to insurance claims overall continues to trend downward, but ongoing market and economic conditions could affect future results while the industry deals with staffing and productivity challenges.
West Coast disasters pose unique challenges and liabilities for rental fleet operators, who are advised to take steps tailored to their specific situations.
