For the fifth consecutive year, year-end holiday travel is predicted to increase, according to the “2013/2014 AAA Year-End Holidays Travel Forecast.” This year, 94.5 million Americans are expected to travel, compared to 94 million last year.

According to the “AAA Thanksgiving 2013 Travel Forecast,” 43.4 million Americans will journey 50 miles or more from home, a decrease of 1.5% from the 44 million people who traveled last year. But the gas prices will be the cheapest since Thanksgiving weekend in 2010.
