Avis Budget Group has announced the availability of Visa Checkout as a payment option for Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental customers.
According to a new report by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Foundation, global business travel spending is predicted to reach $1.3 trillion in 2016. In 2015, it topped $1.2 trillion, a growth of 5% from 2014.
In the next five years, China business travel will increase by 61% (from $261 billion in 2014 to $420 billion in 2019). Asia Pacific owns the largest share of the business travel spend market with 39%, followed by North America with 27%.
Business travel spending in China is expected to expand 15.9% in 2014 to $262 billion and increase another 18% in 2015, according to the latest semi-annual “GBTA BTI Outlook – China” report.

The GBTA commends the Jobs Originated through Launching Travel (JOLT) Act for its aim to increase international business travel by reducing travel restrictions.
