Clem Driscoll's “State of the Commercial Telematics Market” seminar will convene on Monday, April 19 at 2pm EDT.

Today in the U.S. over 16 million GPS and wireless devices are used to monitor fleet vehicles, drivers, field service workers, and assets in the field. Revenues from telematics — more broadly encompassing mobile resource management or MRM — are projected to grow from $4.6 billion in 2018 to nearly $6.3 billion in 2022. At the same time the untapped market is shrinking, though many leading suppliers continue to grow.

What’s driving these changes? How can solutions providers and fleets take advantage?

Renowned telematics expert Clem Driscoll will answer these questions in a keynote presentation at the 2021 Data-Driven Fleet Experience (DDFE), a virtual event taking place April 19 to 23. In “State of the Commercial Telematics Market,” Driscoll will present findings from his seventh annual Mobile Resource Management Systems Market Study, often referred to as “the bible of the MRM industry.”

Driscoll will discuss which sectors are seeing market penetration, how telematics providers are positioning for growth, and the new service offerings — such as video and field service management — that are gaining traction. He’ll also dive into trends such as the increase of OEM systems and partnerships, growth of resellers, and emergence of provider marketplaces.

“When it comes to third-party experts in the telematics industry, Clem Driscoll is it,” said Chris Brown, conference chair of Data-Driven Fleet Experience. “For those connected to the telematics industry, or for fleet operators needing a comprehensive overview of the telematics market, Clem’s session is a must-attend.”

The “State of the Commercial Telematics Market” seminar will convene on Monday, April 19 at 2pm EDT.

Featuring keynotes, panel seminars, and roundtables, Data-Driven Fleet Experience is for operators of commercial, corporate, and government fleets as well as solutions providers to those fleets.

DDFE seminars, free for fleet operators, will give organizations solutions to crunch data from various sources to increase uptime, utilization, productivity, and safety. In addition to those seminars, solutions providers will have access to exclusive content and networking opportunities that will foster partnerships and solutions for data-focused products for fleets.
