Brisbane-based Abel Rent A Car is scheduled to appear in Federal Court in Brisbane on March 14 after being accused of misleading marketing by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), according to Travel Weekly and Smartcompany.com.au.

The ACCC claims Abel misled customers by listing a price that did not include the total cost of the rental in online and print advertising. Abel referred to the additional charges as an administration fee and vehicle registration recovery fee.
