The Hertz Corp. donated a 2011 Toyota Camry to the National Auto Body Council (NABC) Recycled Rides program, according to a Jan. 23 press release.

Recycled Rides is a community awareness project in which NABC members repair and donate refurbished vehicles to families and service organizations in need throughout the United States. Hertz has donated five vehicles to the program.

This year, a family from Palm Springs, Calif. received the vehicle at the 2013 NABC Golf Fundraiser held on Jan. 23.

“Hertz is committed to our partners and their great causes, and the National Auto Body Council is one of them,” said Hertz Chairman and CEO Mark Frissora. “Through our partnership, Hertz has donated several vehicles to Recycled Rides and we are happy to donate another vehicle knowing it will be given to a deserving family.”
