Manheim California announced the first-ever “Manheim en Español” auction to meet the needs of the Spanish-speaking dealers that make up a large segment of the company’s customer base.

Starting Feb. 1, the Manheim en Español auction will take place every Friday at 9:30 a.m. All auctioneers, ring men and block clerks, as well as staff in other department, will be Spanish-speaking.

The sale is expected to have 250-300 units with most vehicles within the $10,000 and under range, the company said.

Tom Wemhoff, general manager of Manheim California, said the idea came from customer feedback, and it was designed in collaboration with Spanish-speaking dealer customers in Southern California.
