The Birmingham Airport Authority’s Board of Directors approved an agreement with the rental car companies located at Alabama’s Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.
The contract will implement a five-year concessions agreement with the rental companies, according to the Birmingham Airport Authority.
“This agreement is a fair and sound product of combined efforts between the airport authority and its airport concession partners,” said Al Denson, president and CEO of the Birmingham Airport Authority. “We believe all airport concession partners are vital to the wellness of Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.”
The airport’s rental companies include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National/Alamo and Dollar/Thrifty.
