A New Jersey woman was arrested last week after keeping a rental car for six months, according to a New Jersey.com report. Ivelisse Pabon-Rosado of Hoboken was charged with possession of stolen property.

While writing out a ticket for a double-parked car, a police officer discovered that this 2013 Hyundai had been stolen, according to the report. Avis reported the vehicle stolen when Pabon-Rosado failed to return the car after a three-day rental.

Pabon-Rosado told the officer that she had called the Avis rental company before Jan. 2 to extend the rental agreement and they said OK, according to the New Jersey.com report.

Avis reported the vehicle stolen on Feb. 11, says the report.
