The El Paso City Council has approved a five-year improvement plan that will revamp the El Paso International Airport.
According to the city council, the plan for more than $139 million will include various renovations such as rental car expansion, airway improvements, TSA baggage makeup area expansion and maintenance building improvements.
Funding for the projects will come from Federal Aviation Administration grants, passenger facility charge fees, customer facility charge fees and the Airport Enterprise Fund, says the city council.
