For its efforts to expand the car-sharing industry as well as other sustainable transportation methods, Enterprise CarShare has been named as a member of the CarSharing Association (CSA).

Owned and operated by Enterprise Holdings, Enterprise CarShare is equipped with products and policies geared toward the car-sharing customer experience. The program is available on more than 75 university campuses, 40 government and business campuses and in approximately 20 major markets, according to the company.

Other Enterprise initiatives include Enterprise Rideshare, a carpooling and vanpooling program for commuters; Zimride by Enterprise, an online ride-matching program; a sponsorship of the Special Report on Innovation and Urban Mobility outlining the opportunities and challenges of car-sharing, bike-sharing, ride-sharing and public transit; the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Institute for Renewable Fuels.
