Datsun Indonesia, a subsidiary of the Japanese carmaker, has announced plans to enter Indonesia’s car rental market, according to a report by the Jakarta Post.
Indriani Hadiwidjaja, head of Datsun Indonesia, told the Jakarta Post that Indonesia’s rental service market has been healthy, and the company plans to launch operations in tourist destinations like Bali.
“We are not going to deploy a lot of cars for this service,” Hadiwidjaja told the Jakarta Post. “We are targeting only 10% of our total sales for the service.”
