Based on early rental reservation data from all three Enterprise Holdings’ brands — Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car — many Americans will be traveling this Independence Day weekend.

The combined brands are seeing an 11% year-over-year spike in advance reservations at the airport. In addition, Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s neighborhood locations are reporting double-digit growth in reservations, says the company.

With average monthly rentals up since May, Enterprise is introducing more than 250,000 new vehicles into its fleet.
These added cars will push the size of the company’s rental fleet in the U.S. to more than 1 million vehicles, according to Enterprise.

“We were already offering our customers the latest-model, lowest-mileage selection of vehicles available,” said Chrissy Taylor Broughton, senior vice president of North American operations for Enterprise Holdings. “This influx of 250,000 new cars makes our fleet even bigger and better. We’re ready to keep our customers riding in style this summer travel season.”
