car2go, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler North America Corp., is bringing its car-sharing service to Brooklyn.

car2go will provide a fleet of 400 smart fortwo vehicles, which can be picked up or dropped off within a 36 square-mile area, including Park Slope and Coney Island, according to a Bloomberg report.

The car-sharing company will join Avis Budget’s Zipcar and Hertz 24/7 in Brooklyn, says the report.

“This allows members the flexibility to move throughout the city completely at their convenience,” Paul DeLong, car2go’s chief marketing officer for North America, said in a statement.

Currently, car2go is available in several U.S. cities, including Denver, Miami San Diego, Seattle, Portland and Washington, D.C.
