Pogo CarShare has started its car-sharing service in the city of Edmonton.
Startup Pogo CarShare has launched its car-sharing service in Edmonton, Canada, according to a report by the Edmonton Journal.
Currently, 20 vehicles are available at several spots throughout Edmonton, including the University of Alberta, for members to rent using a website or phone app.
Rates start at 47 cents per minute, $14.99 per hour or $69.99 per day, and gas, insurance, parking and maintenance are included, says the report.
Pogo is the first car-sharing company to launch in Edmonton, according to the report.
“We started it because we were looking at car shares in other cities and how successful they are,” Pogo Co-Founder Kieran Ryan told the Journal.
