Car manufacturing companies Geely Holding Group and Kandi Technologies have launched an electric car rental company in Changsha, the capital city in China’s Hunan Province, according to a report by Yibada.

Around 1,000 electric vehicles will be available for rental by the end of the year, according to the report. In order to rent a vehicle, users will need to present their driver’s license and pay around $32 per month.

“Because the number of the cars is limited, they are only available for rent at the moment, Chen Weiqiang, chairman of Hunan Dadi New Energy Vehicles Company, told Yibada.

The zero-emission vehicles come in two-seat or four-seat options and can last for about 50 miles on one charge, Weiqiang told Yibada.
