After 22 years of operating in High Point, N.C., Enterprise Rent-A-Car is adding jobs and investing in a new neighborhood rental office. The new High Point location will occupy a former used car facility.

“Enterprise’s new site will help enhance this vibrant, mixed-use community by providing easy access to affordable and sustainable transportation options,” said John Valas, Enterprise’s regional vice president of western North Carolina.

The new High Point facility will become part of Enterprise’s neighborhood network, which consists of more than 5,500 branch offices located within 15 miles of 90% of the U.S. population, says the company.

“With our new Main Street location, we will be equipped to promote and support High Point’s long-term economic prosperity,” said Valas. “This location also positions us closer to the new Convention and Visitors Bureau, as well as to hotels and corporate customers in the area.”

Enterprise’s $100,000 investment will improve the building’s appearance as well as its functionality – and additional local employees will be hired as a result of the move, according to the company.
