In San Diego, car2go has updated its car-sharing fleet by adding 2014 models of Daimler smart fortwo electric vehicles, according to a report by Times of San Diego.

Four hundred of the new vehicles are now available to car2go members. The previous fleet contained 2010 models, says the report.

“The new 2014 vehicles, while maintaining the zero-emissions footprint, have a much smoother acceleration, and overall, a more comfortable car2go driving experience that our members will truly enjoy,” Will Berry, car2go San Diego location manager, told Times of San Diego.

Currently, car2go is also available in several U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C., Austin, Seattle, Denver and Miami.
