Zoomcar, an India-based carsharing company, has partnered with Tata Motors to add 50 new Nano vehicles to its fleet, according to a report by the Times of India.
To start, the Nano vehicles will be available at Zoomcar’s locations in Pune and Bangalore.
“We chose Nano primarily because it is a tremendous city car that is incredibly maneuverable in Indian traffic conditions,” Greg Moran, co-founder of Zoomcar told the Times. “We also expect demand with these cars owing to the convenience of easy parking as a result of its design.”
Currently, Zoomcar has over 700 cars ranging from utility vehicles to luxury vehicles at its operations in Delhi, Pune and Bangalore, says the report.
