Avis Budget Officially Acquires Maggiore Group

Avis Budget Group has completed its previously announced acquisition of Maggiore Group, one of Italy’s largest vehicle rental companies.

Funded by incremental corporate borrowings and available cash, the net purchase price was approximately $160 million, according to the company.

Maggiore operates more than 140 locations in Italy, including in the major cities of Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan.
