San Francisco-based HyreCar recently launched its carsharing network aimed at drivers for Uber and Lyft.
Car owners can list their vehicles on the HyreCar website, and drivers can then rent the vehicles for daily or weekly use and use them to drive for services such as Uber.
Drivers who operate vehicles from HyreCar’s marketplace undergo background checks and all cars are covered under HyreCar’s insurance, the company said in a statement. Additionally, all vehicles are approved by Uber and Lyft.
