car2go has reduced its fleet in St. Paul after six months of operation, according to a report by City Pages. Under a new deal approved by St. Paul’s city council, car2go will only serve about 15% of the city.

car2go’s new carsharing zone will only cover about 10 square miles, according to the report. The changes will take effect on March 1, 2016.

Bradley Ducey, car2go’s spokesman, told City Pages that the decrease in fleet was caused by cars not being used in low-demand areas. Ducey also said that car2go is discussing reducing its fleet in Minneapolis.
