Business Insider reported BMW has named Steve Banfield as CEO of its ReachNow carsharing service, which relaunched in Seattle in April.

According to the article, ReachNow has 13,000 members and 370 vehicles in the city. Banfield will be charged with expanding the service throughout Seattle suburbs and the airport.

Banfield is a former chief marketing officer at Inrix, a real-time traffic data company that partnered with BMW to launch a service that helps ReachNow drivers find parking.

The article also reported ReachNow hopes to launch in other U.S. cities soon.
