BlueIndy launched its all-electric carsharing service at the Indianapolis International Airport. Located in the daily parking garage, 20 parking spaces with Bluecars are available for public use. Airport guests can also sign up for a membership at an enrollment kiosk.

"This is the first ever electric carsharing station to be located at an airport," said Scott Prince, general manager of BlueIndy. "The airport BlueIndy station will provide all in Indianapolis with a convenient, affordable, and reliable way to get to and from the airport for a low fee that includes parking, insurance and without the need to refuel your car."

The BlueIndy fleet currently consists of 200 cars throughout Indianapolis. The Bluecar, manufactured by BlueIndy’s parent company Bolloré, is an all-electric four seater that provides users a driving range of up to 125 miles.

Members can reserve their parking spot and vehicle by using BlueIndy’s website or mobile app.
