TMZ reported the NFL is investigating a rental car crash involving former quarterback Johnny Manziel in April. Manziel was a passenger in a Mercedes Benz S550 rental car from PCLA luxury vehicle rental company that was totaled after the driver crashed into a light pole in Hollywood, Calif.
According to the article, PCLA owner Wayne Schneider claims Manziel promised to reimburse him for the $90,000 damage and buy him a new vehicle. After failed attempts to contact Manziel, Scheider reached out to the NFL for help and the league is now looking into the crash as part of a "larger Manziel investigation which is ongoing."
