Two men were arrested after damaging vehicles at a Priceless Car Rental location in Belle Isle, Fla.

According to the police report, officers responded to a call on Dec. 5 at the Priceless facility. A witness said he observed two subjects breaking mirrors on vehicles. The subjects were taken into custody.

The police officers contacted the rental company’s owner who wanted to press charges on both defendants. After investigating, the officers found 13 vehicles that had sustained broken side-view mirrors. The rental company’s owner estimated the damage to be around $4,500, according to the report.

According to the police report, one of the suspects, Andrew Girges, admitted to police that he unlawfully entered the premises by going underneath the curtilage of the building and then destroyed 24 side-view mirrors on 13 rental vehicles. Girges was charged with committing burglary, damaging property, and possessing burglary tools.

Girges was an employee of Signature Rent-A-Car in Orlando, but upon learning of the illegal activities allegedly committed by Girges, Signature Rent-A-Car immediately relieved Girges of his duties on behalf of the company, pending the completion of the criminal investigation.

"Signature Rent-A-Car adamantly denies any responsibility for the unfortunate events alleged to have occurred at Priceless Car Rental, but due to the severity of the accusations, we felt it was appropriate to terminate Mr. Girges," said a corporate representative from Signature Rent-A-Car.
