A Hong Kong court found five Uber drivers guilty of illegally using their vehicles for commercial purposes, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Judge So Wai-tak said that the drivers’ vehicles were used for commercial purposes but their insurance didn’t include commercial use. This leaves the passengers unprotected, says the report.
This verdict in Hong Kong comes after Uber pulled its ride-hailing service out of Taiwan.
