In Utica, N.Y., city zoning board members approved a plan to use the property on Oriskany Street as an auto rental business.

A proposition to open an auto rental business at Oriskany St. West in Utica, N.Y., was approved by the city’s zoning board of appeals, pending a parking plan for the location, according to a report by the Utica Observer-Dispatch.

Plans call for the location to be used for customers to pick up and drop off vehicle rentals from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, says the report.

The proposal was submitted by 525-527 Oriskany St. LLC/Angela Elefante. According to estimates provided by the applicant, approximately 60 vehicle rentals will be available on Monday and 20 rentals will be offered the rest of the week.
